For beyond-beginning guitar students who already know a few chords and can play a few songs on the guitar.  We'll work on picking/strumming patterns, some melodic work (preparing you for soloing and improvising in an ensemble setting), and pick up some music theory insight along the way.  After this course, you should feel more comfortable playing your guitar on your own, and with others.  Music reading skills are not necessary for this class.

*Note for returning students: If you've taken Guitar 2 in a previous semester, you can still sign up for this class again.  We'll use new repertoire for our skill-building in this class.

Class will meet every Tuesday starting Sept 25. The last class will be November 13.

Instructor: Christie Burns
