This is a workshop for anyone-- not just musicians-- to help us all with one of the most important skills in music making and music appreciation: listening.  Thollem McDonas is a world-touring master of improvisation and a talented and entertaining music educator.  This month, he brought six musicians together into a performing ensemble at Tim Hinck's Easy Lemon Loft for a 4-day improvisation residency.  This week, Thollem returns to give a solo performance at the Easy Lemon (on Adams Street, just off Main)-- 8pm on Thursday-- and before this performance, he'll lead this one hour listening workshop at the Folk School of Chattanooga.  Please join us!  No experience necessary.  Just bring your open mind and your open ears!  6pm at the Folk School, 1800 Rossville Ave. (next to Loose Cannon)

The Folk School of Chattanooga is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
